Singing, playing guitar and writing songs has always come together as one for me. From the moment I picked up an old beat up guitar and learned my first few chords, I've loved putting lyrics, melodies and music together.
Over the years I've shared music with many wonderful musicians and played many great venues. While doing so I've always played as many originals as I could get away with. Now I'm concentrating on getting some of my large collection of originals recorded.
Fun fact: The "kids music" that I recorded in the late 80's and early 90's was with Larry Luddecke at his studio Straight Up Music. My daughter Nicole and niece Jackie were also on those recordings singing. Fast forward to now, Larry has joined us for the “Loving This” project on organ and piano as has Nicole and Jackie on background vocals. Extra bonus: Our younger daughter Lindsey played cello on "Everything".
